Hi, I’m Haley Long.

I’m a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (CHHP), Certified Natural Health Coach (CHNC), Certified Nutritional Professional (CNP), coach, educator, and the human embodiment of “healing doesn’t have to be boring.”

I created Long Rooted Wellness because I got tired of wellness spaces that felt cold, performative, and impossible to relate to. You deserve support that’s evidence-based and human. The kind that understands nervous systems, hormones, burnout, emotional eating, self-worth, and the very real fact that sometimes you’re trying to heal while eating snacks in your car and holding your life together with caffeine and determination.

My coaching style blends holistic health education, nervous system support, mindset work, behavior change, personal training, nutrition support and radical self-compassion. I help people reconnect with their bodies without shame, punishment, or perfectionism. Around here, we focus on sustainable wellness, realistic healing, and creating a life that actually feels good to live.

Clients often describe me as equal parts coach, safe space, accountability partner, and emotionally supportive chaos goblin with a color-coded plan. I keep things honest, relatable, and deeply judgment-free because healing is hard enough without pretending to be someone you’re not.

Whether I’m helping someone regulate their nervous system, rebuild trust with their body, untangle diet culture, or rediscover joy in caring for themselves, my mission stays the same:

What I do

Long Rooted Wellness was created for the woman who’s done trying to force her body into healing.

The one who’s tried the plans, followed the rules, stayed disciplined and still feels exhausted, disconnected, and like nothing is actually working.

Because the truth is, your body was never the problem..

It just never felt safe enough to actually respond.

I don’t do restriction.

I don’t demand perfection.

I do things that actually work for your body instead of against it.

My approach is rooted in nervous system regulation, functional nutrition, and sustainable habit change however what makes my work different is this:

We use play as a pathway to healing.

Not because healing is a game but because your body opens when it feels safe.

Play is one of the most biologically powerful ways to signal safety to your nervous system. It softens hypervigilance. lowers resistance, and creates an internal environment needed for real healing to happen.

When we bring play back into the body - movement feels less like punishment, nourishment feels less like control, and consistency stops feeling like a fight.

It becomes something your body is actually willing to participate in.

From there, everything else lands differently.

The supplements.

The nutrition.

The routines.

The deeper healing work.

Because now your body isn’t bracing against the process - it’s part of it.

Through my signature ROOTED Method, I help you regulate your nervous system, rebuild trust with your body, and create a version of wellness that fits your real life, your real capacity, and your actual human experience.
